Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer with specialised expertise in Core Java and Python, you will be at the forefront of our mission, contributing significantly to the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance software applications that drive our innovative products and services.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications.

• Design, develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable software solutions.

• Implement and improve the functionalities of the robotic systems, embedded systems, sensors, and sensor networks.

• Validate the functionalities of our robotic systems and other products ensuring that they meet the specified requirements and deliver expected performance.

• Continuously improve and optimise existing code to enhance software functionality, maintainability, and efficiency. Resolve software defects, identifying root causes and implementing effective corrective measures.

• Keep abreast of the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, and apply them to propose innovative solutions for software development challenges.

• Actively participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to maintain high code quality and consistency across the team.

• Create technical documentation for reference, reporting and QA

• Embrace agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Qualifications:

• Proven professional experience as a Software Engineer/ Developer. Freshers with proven track record are also encouraged to apply

• Knowledge of

• Java, Python, C/C++ and related frameworks/libraries (and/or)

• Web technologies, HTML5/JavaScript/CSS and related frameworkS

• Object-oriented design principles, multithreading, and memory management

• Familiarity with database systems and SQL to ensure efficient data retrieval and storage.

• Solid understanding of software development best practices, design patterns, and coding standards.

• Attention to detail, Good teamwork and Initiative.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective technical communication and seamless teamwork.

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)

• Degree in Computer Science / Engineering / related field, with relevant work experience

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of back-end servers, databases and networks, front-end development technologies, software/hardware interfaces

• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies

• Understanding of software security principles and best practices.

• Ability to learn new languages and technologies
